About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our dynamic fleet maintenance team at Manpower UK - RISE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for MOT testing to the highest standards, ensuring all necessary checks and inspections are completed.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Complete detailed inspection records and defect reports, providing accurate and timely information to our team.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform ad-hoc repairs to ensure vehicles are always roadworthy, using your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in HGV Maintenance or equivalent qualification (Level 2 considered) or substantial time-served experience.
  • Driving License: Class 1 (CAT CE) driving license.
  • Experience: Previous hands-on experience as an HGV Technician.
Working Arrangements

We offer a range of shifts to suit your needs, including:

  • Shift 1: One position available for the early shift: 06:00 - 14:30, Monday to Friday.
  • Shift 2: Three positions available for the afternoon shift: 13:00 - 21:30, Monday to Friday.

Overtime is paid at 1.5x after 40 hours, and we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Training Opportunity: We will provide a fully paid HGV training course to help you advance in your career.
  • Benefits: Overtime as and when required, 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays, comprehensive pension plan, death in service benefit, PPE and uniform provided, Health Shield membership, and full sick pay after 12 months of service.
