Special Educational Needs Support Assistant

Job Overview: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in a specialist provision.
About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing tailored classroom resources, supporting students with SEN, and running 1:1 and small group sessions. You will work closely with the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Students with SEN: You will work with students who have a range of special educational needs, providing individualized support to help them access the curriculum.
- Preparing Classroom Resources: You will create and prepare resources to support students with SEN, including adapting materials and developing strategies to meet individual needs.
- Running 1:1 and Small Group Sessions: You will deliver targeted support to students, both individually and in small groups, to help them develop specific skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with Teaching Staff: You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN, and to ensure that students receive the best possible education.
Requirements:
- Experience Working with Students with SEN: You will have experience working with students who have special educational needs, and be confident in your ability to support them.
- Right to Work in the UK: You will have the right to work in the UK, with valid documentation and Overseas Criminal Clearance for any country outside of the UK in the last 5 years.
- UK Residency: You will be a UK resident, living in the country for at least 3 months, with valid Right to Work documents and relevant UK school experience.
