We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team at a charming school in Kent. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting SEN children and fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support and assistance to SEN children, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning activities and interventions.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with classroom management and organization to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for SEN students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
