About the Role

We are currently working in partnership with an Independent Financial Advice firm specialising in pensions and retirement planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing guidance on their financial planning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in daily communication with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives.
  • Qualify new client inquiries, ensuring a thorough understanding of their financial needs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, financial plans, and investment funds.
  • Educate clients on pensions and investment options, assisting them in making informed decisions regarding their finances.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on their financial plans, addressing any queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales and account management, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Currently working towards or already possess a Level 4 qualification in financial planning or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner.
  • Extensive expertise in pensions and retirement planning.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of personal and workplace pension schemes, including assessment and optimization of pension arrangements.
  • Skilled in identifying drivers for pension consolidation and recommending suitable strategies tailored to client goals.
  • Proficient in navigating the tax advantages of pensions, ensuring clients maximise their financial benefits.
  • Experienced in managing a wide variety of pension policies, including Guaranteed Annuity Rates (GARs) and pensions with safeguarded benefits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while aligning with clients' retirement objectives.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
