Safety Management Professional

Location: Various UK locations, including Barrow-In-Furness, Portsmouth, and Manchester.

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per year. A competitive salary that reflects your experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Safety Management Professional to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Integrated Development Team, you will be responsible for managing safety risks and developing safety reports.

You will work closely with other teams to identify and analyze hazards, and ensure that the Integrated Development Team operates within the project Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing safety risks and developing safety reports.
  • Working closely with other teams to identify and analyze hazards.
  • Ensuring that the Integrated Development Team operates within the project Safety Management System.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in a team environment and delivering tasks independently.
  • Practical experience as a Product Safety Engineer in the maritime defence sector is desirable, but not essential.
