Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and innovative healthcare setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover and re-engage with their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and observations to identify individual needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clinical practice aligns with company policies and procedures.
  • Support junior occupational therapy staff and students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Lead the development and implementation of occupational therapy services within the site, under the supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
  • Organize and deliver therapeutic activities for service users, promoting engagement and participation.
  • Assess service users' responses to interventions, using agreed-upon models of practice.
  • Provide practical support, advice, and education to service users, carers, and other disciplines.
  • Record all patient-related activity information accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant clinical experience working with mental illness and/or personality disorder.
  • Extensive experience applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
  • Demonstrated evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
  • Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
  • Knowledge of working with neurodiverse individuals.
