About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our Spirits Sales Team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customers across the Independent On-Trade (IFT) sector, leveraging our Master of Malt (MoM) Trade wholesaler supply platform to drive growth and increase value contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing account relations and create new business opportunities across your region.
  • Identify business building opportunities and develop investment plans to drive incremental growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build support plans for our core Maverick lines, driving ROI with a long-term vision.
  • Use your expertise in the craft spirits category to facilitate decision-making and product ranging, growing out the MoM Trade basket spend.
  • Drive distribution, visibility, and rate of sale of our core Maverick brands, leveraging these listings to establish distribution of our wider brand portfolio.
  • Liaise with external RTM Sales Managers to uncover new opportunities and support existing distribution.

  • You'll be a humanist with integrity and respect, passionate about the spirits industry and our company's mission to disrupt the drinks industry.
  • You'll have a strong sense of purpose, be proactive, and capable of working autonomously, with excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills.
  • You'll be an innovative thinker, with boundless curiosity and a drive to deliver against KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of quality Account Management within the Spirits industry, including selling-in new products or range extensions.
  • Experience of new business development within the On-Trade and Wholesale sector is desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of the UK spirits business, including brands, venues, trends, and innovation.
  • Strong product knowledge spanning all categories of spirits, preferably with an understanding of the craft spirits category.
