Cardiac Physiologist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic tests and procedures to help diagnose and manage cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform resting ECGs, ambulatory ECG and BP recordings, and event recorders
- Analyse ECG and BP recordings, including event recorders
- Support exercise stress echoes, exercise tolerance testing, and head-up tilt table testing
- Assist in the implantation and follow-up of implantable loop recorders
- Provide technical and clinical advice to peers, juniors, and students
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, PTP and STP students
Requirements
- BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification
- Experience of fitting and analysing ECG and blood pressure monitors
- Strong underpinning knowledge of exercise tolerance testing, resting and ambulatory ECG and BP recording and interpretation
