Apprentice Carpenter

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Carpentry and Joinery apprentice. As an apprentice, you will work at a company and gain hands-on experience in carpentry and joinery.

The role involves working on various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial construction. You will be responsible for measuring and cutting wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools.

You will also learn how to install structures such as doors, windows, staircases, furniture, and cabinetry. In addition, you will develop your skills in blueprint interpretation, joinery work, and safety compliance.

A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to study one day per week during term time at our Basford campus for 2 years, which is paid for as part of your normal working week. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for ongoing employment if a position is available.
