Job Title: Graduate Maintenance Engineer

Location: Halstead, Essex

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience

About the Role:

Premier Engineering is seeking a Graduate Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing mechanical equipment, fault finding on machinery, and liaising with manufacturing providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct fault finding on machinery to identify and resolve issues
  • Liaise with manufacturing providers to source parts and materials
  • Input parts into the MRP system and create BOMs
  • Work in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Passion for engineering and willingness to work in a hands-on role
  • Ability to carry out mechanical calculations
  • Previous experience working with machinery and automated systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Keen to develop with a company long term
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office
