Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Rullion Limited. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring sample preparation, routine analysis, and reporting are undertaken and delivered for regulatory and project decommissioning analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure sample preparation, routine analysis, and reporting are undertaken and delivered for regulatory and project decommissioning analysis
- Identify and rectify constraints to minimize delays
- Undertake and deliver method development, validation, and uncertainty estimation in the laboratory
- Prepare and review technical documentation
- Develop, maintain, and review the chemical support services quality management system
- Ensure safety checks are completed and reported
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, 17020, and maintenance of UKAS accreditation
- Provide performance monitoring on internal performance against safety and quality and take remedial action where necessary
- Ability to gain SC clearance
- HND in science or equivalent plus relevant working experience
- Considerable analytic laboratory experience
- Relevant radiochemical and chemical knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
