About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at TribePost Ltd. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth purchasing of materials, optimizing costs, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Sourcing: Source and evaluate new suppliers and materials to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the chemical industry, with technical knowledge of chemistry and the application of chemicals.
  • Contract Management Skills: Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to chemical procurement.
Desirable Qualifications:

CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
