Job Summary:

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join a leading recycling company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine maintenance of heavy plant vehicles and machinery, visiting various local sites, and performing rebuilds, diagnostics, and safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Visit various local sites to conduct maintenance and repairs.
  • Rebuild and repair heavy plant machinery as required.
  • Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform safety inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the recycling or heavy equipment industry.
  • NVQ 2 minimum in Engineering or Plant, or equivalent qualification.
  • Desirable skills include welding and electrical experience.
