About the Role

As a Knitwear Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development of our knitwear range. You will work closely with our design and technical teams to create products that meet our quality and production viability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new seasonal ranges of Knitwear, ensuring they meet our quality and production viability requirements.
  • Work closely with our design and technical teams to create products that meet our brand's heritage and competitor brand standards.
  • Interact daily with suppliers regarding quality and technical issues, critical path milestones, and sample delivery and costs.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Barbour's brand positioning, its history, and the competitive landscape.
  • Identify potential production, quality, and costing issues and make recommendations to ensure our brand integrity is maintained.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of knitwear production processes and quality control.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
