About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our clients in the construction industry. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, administering tender processes, and leading procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Administer tender processes and construction contracts, evaluating variations and negotiating settlements
  • Lead procurement activities, including tendering and contractor/subcontractor selection
  • Carry out early-stage cost plans and estimates or manage the delivery of detailed cost plans and bills
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates
  • Chair project meetings and report to key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • RICS chartered status or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in quantity surveying in the UK
  • Sound knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (Excel, CAD measurement software)
