We are seeking kind-hearted individuals to join our team as Community Home Helpers. This part-time role is centred around assisting older adults in their own homes, offering them support and companionship, and helping them maintain their independence with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient nature. As a Community Home Helper, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing companionship and conversation, fostering a supportive and positive environment.">
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errand running.">
  • Helping with personal care activities including dressing, bathing, and grooming.">
  • Encouraging and supporting in physical activities and exercises, tailored to individual abilities.">
  • Reminding clients to take their medication and assisting with mobility around the home.">
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation when necessary.">
