We are currently recruiting for a Debt Recovery Specialist to join our Finance Team at CarFinance 247.

Who We Are?

The finance function is a dynamic, high-performing team, led by a CFO with previous experience as the FD at Coop Bank and a Head of Finance with a professional services background. The team delivers valued insights and analysis to the business and accurate reporting. A strong credit control team manages receivables balances ensuring debts are collected.

What Does The Role Offer?

This role will be challenging and rewarding, providing you with the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in collecting outstanding debts and improving current practices. You will be responsible for managing receivable balances due from car dealers, customers and lenders, collecting outstanding debts and minimising bad debts. You will be empowered to use your experience to identify and implement more efficient processes, controls and collection strategies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Effective management and prioritisation of case load.
  • Collection of outstanding debt from car dealers, customers and lenders.
  • Developing your internal network within Finance and across the business to help resolve issues.
  • Maintaining CRM systems with accurate and comprehensive notes.
  • Identifying and implementing changes to processes, controls and collections strategies.

About You

  • Confident telephone communicator.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation skills to manage high volume case loads.
  • Willingness to learn and challenge the status quo.

Salary and Benefits

As a key member of our Finance Team, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
