About the Role

Ayesa, a leading international engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design solutions for a wide range of projects, including permanent and temporary works, commercial buildings, residential complexes, bridges, and industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare technical documentation, contract documents, and fee estimates for structural engineering projects.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines, including civil and geotechnical, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to Structural Design Engineers and graduate engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • A degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in structural design engineering, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Working towards or is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers or a similar professional body.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Experience in delivering detailed design engineering solutions, drawings, and specifications for structural engineering projects in the UK.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • A strong understanding of the structural components of buildings and other structures, with a passion for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions.
