An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the procurement function of a non-profit organisation with offices across East Anglia. This role offers flexibility in terms of base office location, with a requirement to be in the office 1-2 days per week. This part-time (3 days) or full-time role will involve taking ownership of key areas of spend, with the support of senior colleagues. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their procurement career and take ownership of their development.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing procurement from cradle to grave across various indirect spend categories
- Supporting the implementation of Category Management strategy
- Managing the Supplier Approval Process
- Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting the development of procurement reporting and sustainability reporting
- Coordinating all incoming requests for procurement services
To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrable procurement experience, excellent communication skills, and strong numeracy and literacy skills. A working knowledge of PCR 2015 and/or evidence of training on the new Procurement Act is essential.
