Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Events Operations Manager to join our team at Gateway Hospitality Recruitment. As an Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and running high-end events and weddings at our luxury venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate events in line with the Event Sheet
  • Manage and supervise team members to ensure seamless event execution
  • Discuss and agree on event formats with clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth event operations
  • Supervise and run events on the day, ensuring exceptional guest experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a meeting and events department or restaurant at a 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Awareness of business and upselling skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
