About the Role:
Walter Everett is a leading recruitment agency specializing in Technology, Cyber, Data, AI, and Engineering. We are currently partnering with a global brand to find a highly skilled Cyber Security Professional who will specialize in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented PKI Security Specialist to join our client's team. As a PKI Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Public Key Infrastructure, ensuring the security of cryptographic systems, and supporting the deployment and automation of certificates.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and support PKI solutions and environments.
Analyze current use of certificates and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in onboarding new teams into the PKI service.
Work with Cyber vulnerability assessment teams to prioritize onboarding to automated certificate management.
Support and manage Key Management Systems (KMS) to ensure robust cryptographic key security.
Perform certificate lifecycle management, including issuing and revoking certificates.
Support operational issues and educate the business on cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements:
Good knowledge and understanding of Information and/or Cyber Security.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices and an understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO27001.
Experience with PKI systems and services, ACME protocol, and use of RESTful APIs.
Experience with Certificate Authority Administration, ADCS monitoring, and related tasks.
Understanding of PKI machine identity technologies, such as SSH, SSL, and TLS.
Experience supporting Key Management Systems (KMS) for cryptographic key security.
Experience with PKI and Certificate deployment and automation, Thales HSMs.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to tackle multiple tasks simultaneously.
