About the Role

The Royal Mail is a leading postal delivery service provider in the UK, serving 64 million people. Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail to source professional Delivery Drivers to support their busy operation. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering parcels to local communities, working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and gather mail at the local delivery office
• Collect allocated vehicle and hand-held computer device
• Deliver parcels to local communities, varying shift lengths between 4-8 hours per day

About You

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team, and possess a strong sense of community. You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work. A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is also essential.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role is desirable
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Relatively fit and healthy, with a smart and professional appearance
