About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Mechanic / MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including:

  • Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: You will be responsible for carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, ensuring that vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
  • Vehicle Inspection and Diagnostic Work: You will carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and repair any issues with vehicles.
  • Parts Ordering and Reassembly: You will be responsible for ordering replacement parts and reassembling vehicles with new parts as required.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Mechanic / MET Technician who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to:

  • Plan and Prioritize Work: You will need to be able to plan your workload effectively to ensure that vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
  • Work Safely and Efficiently: You will need to be able to work skillfully and safely under pressure, carrying out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Work as Part of a Team: You will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Be Flexible and Adaptable: You will need to be flexible in your approach and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Work to High Standards: You will need to be able to continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience as a MET / Mechanic in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to make a change to work in a bodyshop.
