About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Student Experience and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about student success and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver digital enrichment sessions and provide links to enrichment resources via Student Hubs.
  • Contribute to student induction planning, ensuring that new students feel supported and prepared for their academic journey.
  • Help build a sense of community through participation in weekly briefings and facilitating other student activities, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Coordinate Student Voice activities, including the Digital Student Ambassador programme, providing opportunities for students to share their perspectives and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Provide wellbeing support for students on an individual basis, in small groups, or for the whole cohort, maintaining accurate records and promoting effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent wellbeing and enrichment in relevant meetings, boards, committees, and reports, ensuring that student needs and concerns are effectively communicated and addressed.
  • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with reporting, risk assessments, and other digital safeguarding requirements, prioritizing the safety and welfare of all students.
  • Manage responses in the Student Support and Student Wellbeing inboxes, responding promptly and professionally to student queries and concerns.
  • Participate in Study Group Digital Learning cross-team panels or other relevant meetings or committees, representing student wellbeing and enrichment and contributing to strategic decision-making.
About You

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who possesses:

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent work experience, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in an educational setting.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint, showcasing your technical expertise and creativity.
  • Mental Health First Aid Training (or willingness to undergo training), highlighting your commitment to student wellbeing and mental health.
  • Experience working in an educational setting with students, having successfully developed strategies to promote student engagement and success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • The ability to work flexibly, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
