We are a recognized leader in healthcare, looking for individuals like you to deliver world-class care and support our clients' hospitals. The estimated salary for this role is $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Communicate changes in patient assignment to the nursing office.\
  • Perform patient observation as assigned.\
  • Document patients' behavior using the appropriate form or tool.\
  • Obtain necessary information at the start of each shift regarding patient care from the registered nurse.\
  • Follow patient conversation guidelines.\
  • Maintain patient safety and create a safe environment as directed by the registered nurse.\
  • Monitor patient behavior and report any escalations.\
  • Accompany patients to the bathroom and testing as needed.\
  • Demonstrate proficiency with bed alarms.\
  • Organize patients' clothing and belongings in their closet.\
  • Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of licensed personnel.\
  • Report patients' status and needs to the nurse.\
  • Remain on duty until relieved by oncoming coverage or the nurse discontinues coverage.\
  • The Patient Observer may be assigned to monitor patients at risk for suicide.\
