Lead Womenswear Design Director

We are seeking a talented Womenswear Designer to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design process for womenswear products, collaborating with the retail team to ensure product designs align with brand image and customer expectations, and overseeing the creation of tech packs and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and fashionable womenswear designs that meet customer needs and exceed expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including retail, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of designs from concept to production
- Manage junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to support their growth and development
- Conduct market research to stay current with fashion trends and industry developments
- Present design concepts and final products to senior management, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder buy-in
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A proven track record in womenswear design, with experience working within a fashion supplier or luxury fashion brand
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage junior designers
- Excellent knowledge of fashion trends and design principles, with a creative mindset and attention to detail
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
