Job Overview

At Angus Council, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Education and Support Professional - Frontline Service Delivery.

This position is based at Brechin High School, located in the heart of Brechin, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an Education and Support Professional, you will be responsible for delivering front-line services, ensuring the well-being and achievement of children and young people.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with classroom teachers and other professionals to provide a holistic support service.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting learning and raising achievement through effective collaboration with teachers and other support staff;
  • Promoting positive relationships and a safe and supportive learning environment;
  • Ensuring the health and well-being of children and young people through proactive and responsive support;
  • Assisting with resources and administration to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £23,500 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme and meet the requirements outlined in the job outline and person specification.
