About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality data analysis and insights to inform operational and clinical decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel skills, including design and development, creating pivot tables and charts, and complex formulas and formatting.
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL to query data and design reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues to develop online reporting platforms, such as Power BI and SSRS, to drive reporting and analysis developments.
  • Provide a range of reports and returns, as well as respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicate complex issues and analysis of complex datasets to audiences with varying levels of information literacy.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or hold equivalent experience within an information or performance-related role.
  • Experience of data management, analysis, and interpretation within the NHS.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft SQL to query data and design reports.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including design and development, creating pivot tables and charts, and complex formulas and formatting.
  • Experience of Microsoft reporting tools - Power BI / SSRS.
