Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Residential Paralegal to join our Real Estate team in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the solicitors with residential plot sales, due diligence, and conveyancing tasks.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing documentation, conducting conveyancing searches, and preparing Land Registry applications. You will also be required to communicate effectively with clients, handle routine enquiries, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with residential plot sales
  • Assisting solicitors with due diligence on residential development sites
  • Preparing contract packs and dealing with client enquiries
  • Managing documentation and conducting conveyancing searches
  • Preparing Land Registry applications and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns
  • Communicating with clients and prioritizing tasks

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level education, preferably in law or a related field. Experience in real estate and/or paralegal work is beneficial, but not essential. You must possess excellent communication skills, numeracy, and literacy skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. A minimum salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered.
