We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. Our leading independent school provides exceptional specialist education for young people with Dyslexia and SpLDs.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils to access the curriculum and adapt materials as needed
- Promote good behaviour and ensure safeguarding
- Participate in assessments and collaborate with teachers, therapeutic staff, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and provide pastoral care
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of displays and participate in playground duties
- Support with extra-curricular activities
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Knowledge of interventions to support children, effective communication, good organisation, ability to supervise pupils, work independently and as a team, show initiative, interact positively, and plan learning activities
