Pedagogy and Care Specialist

Getting In Limited seeks an enthusiastic candidate to become a Pedagogy and Care Specialist. The expected salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 annually.
Main Duties:
- Establish and maintain a secure and supportive environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- Forge strong relationships with parents/carers to foster their child's development and growth.
- Perform tasks as designated by the Deputy Manager/Nursery Manager.
- Meet the academic requirements of the apprenticeship program.
- Craft a high-quality educational setting indoors and outdoors that aligns with early learning objectives.
- Develop and implement a suitable Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Ofsted standards.
- Understand and adhere to nursery policies and procedures, including child protection policies.
- Engage children in meaningful activities and maintain regular communication with parents/carers, sharing educational updates and progress reports.
Education and Skills:
- Gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator certification through the apprenticeship program.
- Mastery of Functional Skills in maths and English may be necessary.
- Desirable skills: excellent communication, attention to detail, customer service, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, empathy, patience, and physical fitness.
