About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Support Worker to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Psychology Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of each pupil
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, their families, and school staff
  • Comply with school policies and procedures regarding pupil support and confidentiality
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of support and intervention programs for SEND
