Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are currently recruiting for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to work in our Urgent Care Centre based in Reading.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Wound management and routine injections as prescribed
  • Minor Injuries and Minor Illness, including CVD risk assessments and Q risk interpretation and assessments
  • Home visits for Housebound patients, including routine checks and flu vaccines
  • Referrals to specialist services, such as Podiatry, Counselling, and Audiology
  • Ensuring all specimens are checked and sent to laboratory as required

You will be fully conversant in QOF, read coding, and uphold strategies to provide a holistic combined healthcare for the patient. You will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in research/audit within the practice team.

Requirements:
  • Regulated Health Care professional with current registration
  • Relevant Master's level modules, including Advanced Clinical Assessment & Management and Consultation Skills
  • Registered as a non-medical prescriber with the relevant regulator or have access to PGD (V300)
  • Experience of treating minor injury and minor illness
