As a Fabric Engineer Apprentice at Multi Instruments Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our textile manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include adhering to health and safety regulations, following planned maintenance programs, and fault-finding and repairing equipment to a satisfactory standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Follow and adhere to planned maintenance programs
- Fault find and repair equipment to a satisfactory standard
- Undertake machine adjustments within your capabilities
- Use company equipment in a safe manner
- Provide training to other engineers and production employees within your expertise
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues at all times
- Keep the Engineering Manager informed of any problems encountered
- Assist in relevant projects and machine modification as required
- Undertake training offered by the company
- Ensure effective shift handover and logging of work according to workshop requirements
Requirements:
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
- Qualified to HNC or HND
- Computer literate or prepared to train to a satisfactory level
Working Hours:
4 days, 4 off, 4 nights – 12 hour shifts
