About the Role

This is a senior-level position within our development team, focusing on building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Python. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient API solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize API requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented API code.
  • Ensure API scalability, performance, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Python programming language.
  • Proficiency in API development using Python frameworks.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL relational databases.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of Celery and RabbitMQ.
  • Basic understanding of TypeScript.
Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary and up to £120,000 equity.
