Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Whole Food Earth.
This is a full-time hybrid role with flexibility for remote work, located in Ramsgate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, making purchasing decisions, and analysing market trends to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Analyse inventory data and manage stock levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations
- Regularly review performance indicators such as sales and discount levels to inform purchasing decisions
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new ones to expand product offerings
- Negotiate contracts and purchase terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing
- Review and evaluate current supplier offerings and make recommendations for improvement
- Determine which goods to purchase and in what quantities based on sales projections and customer demand
- Generate reports and forecasts to inform business decisions
- Calculate profits, pricing, and company needs to drive revenue growth
- Analyse consumer buying patterns and trends to stay ahead of market changes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project completion

About the Role
- This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and negotiation abilities
- You will have frequent contact with wholesalers, manufacturers, and suppliers, so strong interpersonal skills are essential
- You must be able to cope with pressure and meet tight deadlines while achieving targets within specified timeframes
