About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in structural engineering and facade design to spearhead our facade design team. As a Global Facade Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of facade design projects across various locations, including Dubai, the Middle East, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the facade design team, setting performance objectives and fostering personal growth.
- Develop and implement facade design strategies that meet company goals and client expectations.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor designs and manage timely deliverables to meet project deadlines.
- Identify and develop talent within the team and establish new roles for proficient in-house delivery of design services.
- 20+ years of project experience in shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, and residential & commercial towers, high-rise projects using latest design and construction technologies.
- Strong knowledge of facade structural and thermal calculations, specifications, and performance requirements.
- Experience with FEA programs, including non-linear/thermal analysis programs.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- ETABS, SAFE, STAADPRO, AutoCAD, Revit.
