Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Manager to join our team at Notting Hill Genesis. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in establishing robust and effective system controls around our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing and future enhancements to guarantee timely and high-quality financial reporting.
  • Drive a customer-centric ethos and continuous improvement culture within our Finance team.
  • Administer the chart of account, P2P, management, and financial monitoring and reporting.
  • Oversight of administering system controls, including user IDs, access rights, authorization, and budgetary limits.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with the NHG IT team and other suppliers.
  • Design and deliver training courses to staff on the D365 accounting system.
  • Manage the control process for changes to the accounting system.
  • Review the effectiveness of all interfaces into the D365 accounting system.
  • Manage the reconciliation and interface processes for the accounting systems with other NHG systems.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of departmental performance.
  • Support the setting of departmental delivery standards and provide training where required.
  • Support the annual interim and final audits delivery from a finance system perspective.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a finance IT system, specifically a D365 accounting system.
  • Significant experience of implementing and maintaining a robust finance IT systems control environment.
  • Prior experience of working with large volumes of financial transactions on computerized financial systems.
  • Hold or studying for a CCAB recognized accounting qualification with supporting CPD.
  • Be a confident and experienced role model and leader, ensuring you reflect the values of the organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audience engagement.
