Culinary Leader

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to our clients and customers.

In this role, you will oversee the preparation and serving of high-quality food, implement menu changes, and identify opportunities to improve our food services. You will also be responsible for listening to customer feedback, supporting the creation of new menus, and representing our brand in a positive light.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification, experience supervising a team, and a flexible approach to working. A Food Hygiene certificate is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Must be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Have experience supervising a team
• Have experience in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have a flexible approach to working

About the Role:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
