Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is currently looking for a highly skilled Safety Trainer to join their team. As a leading recruitment agency, they operate across the UK, covering various industries with specialist teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accredited courses at various locations throughout South/South East England, reporting directly to the Compliance and Training Manager. The role involves providing excellent delivery of training programs within the civil, water, and construction sectors.

Safety Trainer Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and practical training courses to clients in accordance with current training programs.
  • Collaborate with the Training Director and report to the Compliance and Training Manager to ensure outstanding training delivery.
  • Assist in planning future course development and stay up-to-date with awarding bodies and their policies, including statutory requirements.
  • Travel extensively throughout the South/South East of England, staying away from home for up to 4 days per week.
  • Maintain detailed administrative tasks due to the nature of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably with a recognized training qualification.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of awarding bodies and their policies, including health and safety, employment, and equality laws.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and civil sectors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver practical training in outdoor settings.
  • Proven experience in writing and producing training sessions or assisting.
  • Educated to GCSE level C or above in Maths & English.
  • Possession of a full driving license.
