Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dispensing Optician to join our team at Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists. As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of optical care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense and fit spectacles and contact lenses to customers, ensuring accurate prescriptions and optimal comfort.
  • Work closely with Optometrists to determine the best solutions for customers and their lifestyles.
  • Provide expert advice on optical products and services, including the latest technological advances in contact lenses, spectacle lenses, and frames.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, team members, and peers, ensuring a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, maintaining a high level of professional competence and expertise.

Requirements

  • Qualified FBDO and GOC registered Dispensing Optician.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
