Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of a dynamic and growing firm of chartered accountants. This will involve inputting and reviewing data, maintaining sales, purchase, and general ledgers, and posting and reviewing month-end journals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Previous proven bookkeeping experience in an office environment
  • Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Evidence of being a proactive self-starter who can manage to change priorities in a demanding environment
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Sage 50
