Senior AutoCAD Structural Engineer Opportunity

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior AutoCAD Structural Engineer to join their team in North Yorkshire. As a key member of the structures team, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical models and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and produce Revit models and AutoCAD drawings on various projects from feasibility to construction and handover.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop structural designs that meet client and stakeholder requirements.
  • Produce sketches and detailed drawings appropriate to RIBA staged delivery.
  • Provide construction stage support, including responding to RFIs, reviewing RC details and schedules, and undertaking site visits to resolve emerging structural issues.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members in Revit and AutoCAD to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualified and experienced in structural detailing with a HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in an engineering design consultancy.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Word/Excel.
  • Experience working on new building designs and refurbishment projects, including structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber detailing.
  • RIBA staged project delivery and budget maintenance experience.
