Senior Public Relations Specialist

As a key member of our London office, the role of PR Junior Manager at MSI Computer (UK) Ltd. involves acting as the primary contact for media, influencer, and partner inquiries. This entails seeking and advancing opportunities to communicate company messages in coordination with sales, while planning and executing product sample rotations, providing necessary briefs and reporting in internal systems.
Key responsibilities include planning and following up media actions, including banners, advertorials, and campaign information, as well as creating and distributing press releases and following up coverage. The role also involves organizing and executing offline events, including industry expos and campus activities, and cooperating with 3rd parties (Game Studios, Related Intellectual Properties, 3rd party vendors). Additionally, the PR Junior Manager will report quarterly actions and claim budgets, while working with the global team to plan, execute, track, and evaluate the media relations strategy and activities for the corporate practices.
Requirements
Requirements for the role include a proven track record in professional services media relations and enthusiasm for media relations, with excellent writing and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to juggle multiple requests, prioritize, and act quickly to meet tight deadlines, with confidence to work with people at all levels and take responsibility for advising and deciding what ideas should be taken to the media. The PR Junior Manager should also be able to work well under pressure and provide support and advice when managing potentially negative publicity, as well as plan and implement PR campaigns, track, evaluate, and report activity.
Qualifications
The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a marketing/business degree, with interest and knowledge of PC gaming and professional hardware. Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is also required, as well as the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and travel as necessary.
