Join Our Clinical Negligence Team

We are seeking a talented Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our Clinical Negligence department, you will work closely with our Senior Associate to provide specialist advice to clients throughout their medical negligence claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases and transactions.
  • Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently, meeting targets and objectives set.
  • Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations.
  • Research and draft articles and assist with the production of marketing materials.
  • Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts and potential referrers and attend networking events.
  • Encourage juniors/trainees, provide feedback to assist their learning, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate.

The successful candidate will work alongside a Senior Associate to undertake a broad mix of high-quality clinical negligence work as well as support in the development and growth of the department through marketing & networking activities. You will be reporting to the Head of Clinical Negligence Department, Managing Director & Office Manager.
