Bristol City Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Inclusion Officer to join our SEND Assessment, Planning and Review Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that children and young people with Education, Health and Care plans are accessing appropriate education and receiving the necessary support to meet their needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and will be able to work effectively with families, education providers and other Local Area professionals to ensure a holistic approach is taken to meet the needs of those with SEND.

You will be required to attend Annual Review meetings, multi-professional meetings and ensure all statutory processes and paperwork are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.

In addition to demonstrating the essential knowledge, skills and experience outlined in the person specification, you will be expected to manage a large caseload and deal with competing demands and priorities within the fast-paced and pressurized working environment of SEND.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
