**About the Role**

The University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking an experienced lecturer to join its esteemed faculty. As a Design Strategy Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research in design strategy, while contributing to the development of the BA Design Management course.

**Job Description**

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in design strategy, who can bring expertise in visual communication tools, media, and design thinking tools. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering strategic projects in a professional environment, as well as comprehensive knowledge of learning and teaching for international students.

As an academic, previous teaching experience at undergraduate level is essential, in addition to experience of research and/or professional practice in creative strategy, design thinking or equivalent design practice.

The ideal candidate should possess effective interpersonal skills, be a student-centred teacher focused on promoting diversity and inclusivity, and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A qualification at undergraduate or postgraduate level relevant to design strategy, design thinking and/or design management
  • Experience in delivering strategic projects in a professional environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of learning and teaching for international students
  • Previous teaching experience at undergraduate level
  • Experience of research and/or professional practice in creative strategy, design thinking or equivalent design practice

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including pension scheme, staff support networks, and flexible working arrangements.
