About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a supportive learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN and complex learning difficulties in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with specific learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Good educational background (CACHE L3 or above)
  • Desire to work with students with moderate and complex learning difficulties
  • Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and sense of humor
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
