Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our Finance & Resources Board. As a member of this board, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial and operational strategy of the RCP. Your key responsibilities will include advising on financial planning, reviewing capital and revenue budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on financial planning and budgeting.
  • Reviewing and recommending financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the RCP's finances.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with proven expertise in financial management and governance within complex organisations. You should have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. A commitment to the RCP's values of care, learning, and collaboration is essential.

Benefits:

This is a voluntary position. Expenses incurred while attending meetings will be reimbursed per RCP policy. The F&RB meets quarterly, with additional ad-hoc engagements as required.

Estimated Salary:

£65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
