Your Role

You'll be working closely with our Collections Manager to identify and record customer vulnerability by way of payment arrears at an early stage. Your responsibility will be to negotiate and deliver appropriate customer solutions for payment arrangements, forbearance, innovation, and rescheduling.

Your Key Duties Will Include:

  • Negotiating and delivering customer-focused solutions
  • Ensuring all arrears are collected in line with forecast numbers
  • Actively identifying vulnerable customers and delivering a fair outcome
  • Working within corporate governance and processes

We're Looking for Someone with:

You'll need great communication skills, particularly on the telephone, and experience in negotiating fair outcomes in a Customer Service environment. You should enjoy problem-solving and be able to work collaboratively with your colleagues.

Additionally, we're looking for:

  • Able to prioritise your own workload and work on your own initiative
  • Customer-based experience in the Financial sector is preferred
  • Able to deal with customers sensitively and with empathy

Your Salary

Your estimated annual salary is £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
